Kumari Bank Supports Bal Sarathi

Kumari Bank has provided financial support of NRS. 100,000.00 to Bal Sarathi, a non-profit organization working for the past 13 years, to provide underprivileged, street children with the basic health and educational opportunities.

The Bal Sarathi Academy now enrolls almost a 100 street-children as regular students of the academy, providing education, medical facilities, and meals to all its enrolled students. Bal Sarathi has also been organizing informal health and educational trainings to create general sense of awareness among those children and their families on basic educational, health, and societal issues.

Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) has supported Bal Sarathi as a gesture of recognizing their selfless efforts and encouraging them to continue their noble work to bring about radical changes in the lives of those underprivileged children. The said-program was conducted by the Bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rajib Giri handing over the cheque to the founders of Bal Sarathi in presence of the children currently being supported by the academy as well as some of the Bank staff.

The Bank has been carrying our various CSR activities in the fields of Education, Health, Environment & Heritage and pledges to undertake more impactful CSR activities in the days ahead.
