Financial support to Nawa Mithila Foundation

Kumari Bank provided financial support to Nawa Mithila Foundation for 2023 Janakpur Literature Festival.  This festival will serve as a platform to bring together Dhanusa denizens and literary enthusiasts from across the country to explore the interconnections between literature and art, theater, films, music, television, journalism, and political activism. Such events will encourage the exchange of ideas and promote cooperation among poets, writers, artists, journalists and musicians.

Bank recognizes that active participation of youth in such events will thereby encourage a culture of reading and critical analysis/thinking, both of which are indicators of a literate society. It also recognizes that such festivals serve to strengthen and promote cultural and literary outlooks between the attendees who hail from diverse walks of life. Regular conduction of such events will gradually instill social elements of literacy by encouraging communal activities centered on exchange of ideas, opinions, information in the form of public forum debates, etc.
